Though far from connoisseurs, we do enjoy a good bottle of wine at our house (usually red if it’s me picking it out). And most guests at a wedding also look forward to their glass or two of wine served with dinner. While most wines created using grapes that are grown with pesticides and chemical fertilizer, there are a number of organic wineries that choose not to use chemicals in the growing process. Online read The Organic Wine Journal has tons of info about organic wineries and wine, and has a list by country, including Canada, of organic offerings.
I can personally speak for the yumminess of Porta Boldo Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon ($21.95 at the LCBO) ;)

So consider giving organic wine a try at your event, or even just try it out at home the next time you pick up a bottle!
