Well, after an all-too-brief trip to the East Coast we are back at it, feeling slightly refreshed but still missing that sea air. There is nothing like it, and I’m counting the days until we can go back to the beach! The kiddos loved swimming, and we all tried skim boarding for the first time. What is skim boarding? Think ’surfing’ + ’snowboarding’ but in only a few inches of water. So much fun, but very hard to do at first. There was never a dull day, always lots to do, and we enjoyed our vacation. The trip home was a different story, but it’s too long for the blog! Ottawa has it’s charms though, and we’re happy to be home.
Also calling Ottawa home now is this lovely gal. We had a great time wandering around the Byward Market and looking for interesting light and locations, it was one of those sessions that’s so comfortable it felt like I was just strolling with a friend I’ve known for ages. Ottawa isn’t as big and busy as NYC, but I hope you love it here, Ms. N.!
